Q: ARE THESE PROGRAMS OPEN TO ALL YOUTH?

A: The programs listed are for out school youth that live in Baltimore City.  We define out of school youth as someone 16-21 years of age that is a high school graduate or in need of assistance to obtain their high school diploma or GED (General Education Development) credential.  Each program provides a small, nurturing learning environment with qualified staff to assist with life skills, employability skills, occupational skills training and  career development.
 
Q: WHERE ARE THE PROGRAMS LOCATED?

A: The programs are located in different areas of Baltimore City.

Q: HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO ENROLL?

A: These programs are at no cost to the participant but young adults interested in attending MUST be committed to completing the enrollment process, following the program rules, attending on a daily basis and completing the course work/assignments each program will offer.

Q: IS TRANSPORTATION PROVIDED?

A: All of the programs are  easily accessible by bus, subway or light rail.

Q: IS CHILDCARE AVAILABLE ON SITE?

A: Each program has identified resources for parenting youth to access that can assist with childcare.

Q: WILL I RECEIVE A JOB?

A: Each program is committed to providing each youth with job readiness skills (resume writing,
interviewing, communication skills, etc) that can assist in securing and retaining employment. 
Only youth that demonstrate job readiness skills will be placed in  employment.

Q: HOW DO I REGISTER?

A: Call the program you are interested in attending and schedule an appointment to meet with the staff. When registering, please bring the following:

> birth certificate
> social security card
> driver's license/Maryland State ID
> selective service card (males born after 1/1/1960)
