The
Baltimore Youth Opportunity (YO!) Center located at 1212 N. Wolfe
Street has been open for one year and is part of Baltimore's YO!
Network that serves almost 2,000 Empowerment Zone residents, ages
16 to 21. Possible cuts to the U.S. Department of Labor's budget
put the continuing support of these centers at-risk. Congressman
Cardin will tour the YO! Center, meet some of the youth being served,
and see first hand how this grant is providing vital support to
the community's young people.
