Baltimore, MD - For the third consecutive year, the Baltimore Regional Employer Institute (BREI) is hosting business-to-business forums led by local employers who won BREI awards for conducting innovative workforce practices. Uptown Press, Genesis HealthCare, Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, and Good Samaritan Hospital are the regional organizations that are conducting these free and interactive forums.

The winning businesses and organizations were selected from nominations received in the following four categories:

  • Creating Success in a Challenged Economy
  • Overcoming Barriers to Employment and Retention
  • Competitive Advantage
  • Preparing Youth for the 21st Century Workplace

Unlike previous years, the 2010 forums are delivered in a virtual format through interactive webinars. Those able to attend the webinars “live” will be able to interact with the presenting employers, learn the details of their winning strategies and customize them to meet their individual needs. These online presentations make it possible for employers to attend forums at a time and location convenient for them. Archived sessions will be accessible on BREI’s Facebook web page.

Uptown Press presented its web-based forums in February, but the next three will be conducted as follows:
