The internship is designed to provide exposure to the varying clerical, marketing, communications and customer services needs of a busy marina business. Responsibilities include: Answering the telephone, greeting and assisting customers, working with Microsoft Office and DockMaster software, writing, editing, and additional clerical support. Requirements: Excellent customer service skills, strong communication skills, and a strong work ethic. Internship is six weeks. The Marina is open seven days a week. Candidate is expected to work 40 hours.

• Tidewater Yacht Service – 321 East Cromwell Street, Baltimore, MD 21230
Tidewater Yacht Service is seeking a repair apprentice. The candidate will have the opportunity to work in the repair department associated with a boat yard. The internship is designed to provide exposure to the varying work areas associated with the marina. Responsibilities include: general yard maintenance, washing, sanding, and painting boats, as well as assisting mechanics and techs with maintenance and repairs. Requirements: Attention to detail, a strong work ethic, enjoy being near water and boats and have the willingness to work outdoors in varying elements. The Marina is open six days a week. Candidate is expected to work a flexible weekly schedule of 30-35 hours per week, Monday to Saturday. The internship is six weeks. Preference for candidate start date is after Memorial Day (Monday, May 26, 2105). Post internship employment opportunity based on performance.

• Baltimore Boating Center – 2015 Turkey Point Road, Essex, MD 21221
Baltimore Boating Center is seeking a Customer Service Intern/Paddle boarding. The internship will be in two main parts of the marina, the ship store and the paddleboat rental business. Responsibilities include: Assisting customers, organizing store shelves, helping with inventory control, learning the retail Point of Sale system, coordinating with all aspects of paddle boat rentals – assisting customers, booking calendar, maintaining inventory, marketing, social media, etc. The candidate will also be assisting with boat yard maintenance. Requirements: Excellent customer service skills, strong work ethic, attention to detail, motivated, and willingness to work outdoors. Internship is six weeks. Candidate is expected to work 40 hours with varying hours and schedule. Weekend work should be expected and the marina is opened seven days a week.

Scientist Intern (TEC) Field Technician
Assisting inspectors that perform building inspections. Collecting industrial hygiene samples. Documenting field conditions. Entering data into databases. Writing inspection reports. Large volume of work will be in and around vacant housing in Baltimore City. Must be able to lift weights up to 50lbs and wear personal protective equipment including respiratory protection. Basic entry level training in asbestos containing materials and lead based paint required. Experience with power tools and hand tools required. Experience performing asbestos and lead inspection preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong Microsoft excel and word skills. Strong organization and critical thinking skills. Can work safely on ladders at elevated heights and in confined spaces. Pre-employment drug testing is required as a condition of employment. Cyber Technology Project Manager
Will be responsible for maintaining compliance with the grant requirements and deliverables. The Project Manager is responsible for coordinating with the Cyber Technology Across Maryland Consortium (CPAM). Strong interpersonal skills and aptitude to work with diverse populations. Experience with technology-based instructional delivery systems: Projectors, DVD players and or other classroom technology. Knowledge of Technology and Cyber Security Labor Market. Preferred qualifications: Candidate with current A+ and Network+ certified instructor with teaching experience in a community college setting, preferably in continuing education.
