Audio Visual Device Specialists/5 Positions/MD0174003

Seeking 5 contractual audio visual device specialists to install, program, troubleshoot and repair A/V equipment such as video projectors, Smart/White Boards, overhead projectors, etc. This is contractual project with work starting June 23 for approximately 8 weeks. 3 of the 5 selected candidates have the potential of the position becoming full-time. Candidates must possess a valid driver’s license and their own vehicle for transportation for travel throughout Montgomery County, MD to do installations with a team of similar workers. Qualifications
One + years of hands on networking and TCP-IP concepts experience with an understanding of software installation; 1+ years of hands-on experience in system integration and knowledge of major audio-visual devices; must be able to read blueprints and wiring diagrams with basic knowledge of commercial construction methods; knowledge of Crestron and Extron control systems; knowledge of professional cat5 wiring, RJ.  Must possess excellent customer service skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure.  Must have good driving record, possess a reliable vehicle to travel and perform work outside of normal business hours as needed.  Must be able to pass a criminal background check.

Over four years child support enforcement experience can be substituted for required education. Familiarity with automated computer system and knowledge of Microsoft Word preferred. Two years skip tracing and two years outbound call experience is required. Hours are M-F 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. This is a long-term temp to perm opportunity in downtown Baltimore City.
