Current Section is recruitment & screening
Through the Mayor’s Office of Employment Development’s (MOED) Employ Baltimore strategy, businesses can find qualified, skilled employees and receive valuable support services at no cost. Employ Baltimore representatives can help local companies with recruitment and pre-screening efforts using the resources of more than 100 local and regional workforce development partners.

Additionally, job seekers are actively recruited through the Maryland Workforce Exchange, a statewide job matching software, as well as through MOED’s One-Stop Career Center Network.

Employ Baltimore can also organize on-site job fairs at a business location or provide space at a local career center to support businesses hiring needs. Please contact us at 410-396-3193.

First Source Hiring
MOED’s Employ Baltimore staff can also assist businesses awarded City contracts or companies that have been awarded development projects through the Baltimore Development Corporation with their recruitment and pre-screening needs. All available positions must be registered through the First Source Hiring Agreement to ensure that qualified city residents can be referred for priority interviewing.
