| Some
businesses have unique hiring needs that make it difficult to identify
job candidates. Other employers may be experiencing open positions where
there is a critical skills shortage.
Customized
Training can assist businesses in training and hiring
new workers by providing matching funds for specialized skills training.
Employ Baltimore works with businesses to recruit and pre-screen training
applicants. The available positions must be full-time, permanent, offer
health benefits and meet minimum salary requirements. Companies accepting
Customized Training grants must agree to hire successful participants.
The training can be employer-based, on-the-job, or offered by qualified
vendors.
